Teachers often get short lunch breaks; one half-hour is the norm. One day I was teaching for four periods straight. My break period was spent covering for another teacher. There was a shortage of subs, so everyone pitched in. I couldn't wait for my too-short half-hour lunch break to enjoy a cup of coffee.
